Micachu and the Shapes

GENUINELY GOOD BAND ALERT!!! That’s right, you didn’t hear it here first but you will remember us recognising their greatness. Wont you?

Micachu is a music student based in London and is signed to Matthew Herbert’s Accidental Records, which has previously been a home to print Herbert’s own records rather than an A&R masterclass. The Shapes are Marc Withasee and Raisa Khan who are both students of music and make their own music (to be found here and here respectively). By beautiful coincidence, my inky fingers were rifling through the newsagents today for 2000AD (no good strips) and PlanB (non-existent) which has Micachu on the cover.

If you live in semi-respectable town in the UK you can catch them touring over typically quiet January and February. Hazaa!
