Thinking about taking that guy/girl/other from the office/pub/other on a date but just don’t know where to go? Well here’s a band you could take said unsuspecting other to watch.
Hailing from Austria – there’s a slight exoticism to her voice – Anja Plaschg plays a delicate balance of klavier and elektronix, making for grandiose soundscapes craftily presented with hushed musings. What’s surprising is that for all the artsy-chanteuse cliché that arise, somewhere between the delivery and the production she pulls it off.
